Embedded technologies – SMH Technologies attended embedded world Exhibition&Conference in Nuremberg for the first time.

An embedded system. What is it?

An embedded system is a non-computer device with embedded software based on microprocessors and microcontrollers designed to control devices or machines that are not normally considered computers. It can perform a specific function or work as part of a larger system.
From mobile phones and robotic equipment to coffee machines, microwave ovens, refrigerators, air conditioners and traffic lights, embedded systems are present in all these devices.

The trends of embedded systems market

According to the latest Global Market Insights report, the embedded systems market is growing – currently worth over $12 billion and estimated to grow to $20 billion by 2025.

What is more, embedded systems of the near future will be driven by trends such as reduced power consumption and increased security of embedded devices, as well as the active use of cloud computing, deep learning applications and real-time data visualization tools.

Indeed, over the last decades, electronic components became way smaller, yet, more powerful that led to the change of entire communication flow between electronics.

Due to continues development of solutions and innovations regarding artificial intelligence (AI), virtual and augmented reality (VR and AR), machine learning and Internet of Things (IoT), energy efficiency, security as well as mobility have become the central topics for R&D among the world of embedded technologies.

SMH Technologies attended embedded world Exhibition&Conference in Nuremberg for the first time

This March SMH Technologies Team for the first time participated in event dedicated to embedded technologies – such an important event that was very dynamic.

The annual trade fair embedded world Exhibition&Conference in Nuremberg is the first-class platform that gives such a great chance to establish connections for all who are representing innovative products or services in the world of embedded technologies.

The exhibition widely highlights modern technologies for the development and use of embedded systems, presents software, hardware and components for system integration as well as basic platforms.

These days were full of meetings, but we had also the chance to establish new connections and to reinforce the collaborations with our customers.

The embedded world Exhibition&Conference was an opportunity to share the latest news about our company, stay up-to-date with industry updates and trends in a context with a futuristic feel.
